I was once told by a wise mentor that businesses should do what they are good at and delegate the rest. I’m good at the “homework” of a company. Payroll, bookkeeping, compliance and tax filings.
I love my work and I find helping companies make money thrilling.
I took accounting classes in high school and have been doing it ever since.
I don’t bother memorizing the rules, they always change anyway. I do know how to find the answers we need and I will use them for the company’s benefit.
